An award-winning writer, editor and public relations specialist, Krista Simmons has more than 20 years of professional experience in the communications industry. During her career, she has served in several leadership positions, including vice president and senior account executive for TrizCom PR, director of public relations for Burk Advertising & Marketing, executive editor and news editor for the “Fort Worth Business Press,” and marketing and education manager for Plano Symphony Orchestra. In addition, Ms. Simmons has served as a writer and/or editor for a number of organizations and publications.

In February 2010, she founded Bluebonnet Public Relations with a mission: to provide exceptional PR services at affordable prices. She continues this mission today, offering her clients a wide range of PR services to help them define, develop and share their success stories. Ms. Simmons has served both b-to-b and b-to-c businesses, and her industry experience includes health care, high tech, aerospace and defense, education, hospitality, retail, professional services, fine arts, entertainment, alternative healing, advertising and marketing, HVAC, manufacturing and not-for-profit. Her specialties are media relations, copy development, customer service, strategic planning and integrated communications.

Bluebonnet Public Relations is a PR consultancy based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex that has served clients with offices in Texas, California, New York, Illinois, Massachusetts, Atlanta, Florida, Georgia, Oklahoma, Colorado, Alabama, Tennessee, Minnesota, Mississippi, South Carolina, Louisiana, Hawaii and Washington, D.C.
